Although I generally use only black micarta other colours are available such as, red, ivory, and brown. Additionally there are three types of micarta: paper, linen, and canvas. Of the three paper micarta is the smoothest looking and canvas being the roughest looking.

It should be noted that Canvas Micarta is the toughest of the three with Paper being the softest.
